Formatting text

It is important to know Mediawiki software does allow you edit some text like WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editors. Beginners may like working with the toolbar. If this works for you than run with it, but long-term learning these techniques will save you a lot of time.

Blockquote

There are two ways to create block quotes. The first is more html and the second uses a wiki template to do it.

HTML:

In html you would surround the quote with these commands: <blockquote>quote</blockquote>
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur. Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum.--Some guy

TEMPLATE:

Using the template will give you a graphic.  To do it just type {{cquote|yourquote}}
