2009 School Board Members
Position 3 - Dale Sistrunk This 67 year old retired Louisiana Tech Professor, beat 48 year old incumbent Larry Rossum. Sistrunk is a former chairman of the Ruston Louisiana Airport Authority and was President of Spring Tree Neighborhood Association. He founded the "In God We Trust" grassroots organization which meets monthly at Forest Home Baptist Church.[1]
Mr Sistrunk sees his experience in dealing with budgets and federal & State grant applications as a strength. His priority goal to prepare KHS students for college and career helped him win this election.[2]
