This is a list of the 17 school districts in Nevada. In Nevada, the school district boundaries coincide with county boundaries. Carson City is an independent city and has its own school district.
In 1954, the school districts numbered 154 at the time and these were combined into 17 countywide districts.[1] Only Hawaii has fewer school districts.[2]
