Section 6254.28, California Government Code
Section 6254.28 of the California Public Records Act is one of 29 subsections of Section 6254. The 6254 subsections of CPRA lay out a wide variety of exemptions to the act.
6254.28.
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to require the disclosure by a filing office of any "official record" if a "public record" version of that record is available pursuant to Section 9526.5 of the Commercial Code.
