Utah counties

Utah is divided into 29 counties.

The counties range in population from Daggett, which had 949 residents as of a 2006 estimate, to Salt Lake County, with 996,374 residents.^[1]

26 had information about the county's administrative officials.
17 had information about building permits and zoning.
5 had audit information.
1 had information about vendor contracts.
1 posted information about their associations with government sector lobbying groups in Utah.
2 posted information about how to obtain public records using the Utah Government Records Access and Management Act.
14 posted information about local taxes.

Utah Senate Bill 18 (2009) was proposed in the Utah State Senate on February 2, 2009. The bill would require all cities, counties, school districts and special districts in the state to post their budgets online.^[2]
